Genknit Manufacturing Corporation ("Genknit", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and how we protect it, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the quote request form on our Contact page:
- your name, company, email address, and phone or Viber number;
- the details of your inquiry, such as product type, quantity, and target date;
- any files you attach, such as artwork, tech packs, or photos.
We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Like any web server, our hosting provider records basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure.
Why we use it
We use your details only to answer your inquiry, prepare a quotation, and, if you place an order, to produce and deliver it. We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and because it is needed to act on your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who can see it
Your inquiry is delivered by email to our sales team. It passes through our website host and our email delivery provider, which process it on our behalf and only to deliver it. Within Genknit, only staff who handle your inquiry or order can see it. We disclose personal data to others only when the law requires it.
Third-party content
The Contact page shows a map embedded from Google Maps, and our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When these load, Google receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any order that follows, and for any longer period required by law (for example, for tax and accounting records). After that we delete them.
How we protect it
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to inquiry emails is limited to the staff who need it, and we take reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to object to its processing, to have it corrected, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to claim damages. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
